Spring 2014 at Our Happy Home

Beautiful signs of spring!  Including bike rides, rising outdoor temperatures, cleaning out flower beds, pruning prickly roses and raspberry bushes.  There has also been emerging flowers, cherry blossoms galore, and fragrant lilacs too!   Even rain, as we've had plenty of April and May showers.  It's made having broken sprinklers a bit more bearable, or at least fixing them hasn't been on the top of the priority list - yet.  So grateful for the rain!  On a recent Saturday, when we all worked out in the yard, the ground was so soft that it made pulling weeds pretty effortless.  The cool, over-cast day was even an extra bonus for making the yard work that day actually quite enjoyable and memorable.
